Check out Telephony’s remix of It’s not a Competition from the recent collaboration between the NHS and Me Me Me to raise funds. The compilation is now exclusively available on Bandcamp.

Telephony is the featuring alias from Irishman Rob Smyth, who is also one half of the Mix & Fairbanks duo. Telephony delves deep into the sounds of late 80s Italian and Belgian electronic music along with everything else he stumbles across on his 2am Discogs binge.

This release comes after label boss Man Power set the challenge to remix a track he created that day in 2 hours. The idea behind the challenge being to set yourself limitations as a producer – be that time, or only using certain software/equipment – and to finish the arrangement completely.

The amount of stellar remixes they received was astounding and hence we’ve arrived at this point, a compilation of all those amazing remixes being released on the label with all profits going to NHS Charities Together.
